Ways We Can Work Together

I offer specialized therapy and consultation for anxiety, OCD, chronic stress, and related emotional and behavioral challenges.

  • CBT is a practical, goal-oriented approach that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful patterns and build effective tools to manage anxiety, improve mood, and navigate challenges with more clarity and confidence.

  • ERP is the gold-standard treatment for OCD. It involves gradually facing feared situations while learning to resist the behaviors or mental rituals that keep anxiety going. Over time, this helps reduce fear, build confidence, and create lasting change.

  • Parent Management Training (PMT):

PMT is an evidence-based approach that helps parents build practical strategies to more effectively manage their child’s behavior. The focus is on strengthening structure and consistency at home while also improving the parent-child relationship through more positive interactions, clearer boundaries, and reduced conflict.

Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE):

SPACE is a parent-focused treatment for childhood anxiety and OCD. Instead of working directly with the child, the focus is on helping parents make gradual, supportive changes to how they respond to their child’s anxiety-related behaviors. These shifts help children build resilience and learn to more effectively tolerate distress.

  • I work with children and teens in a way that feels natural and supportive for their age and stage. Therapy is tailored to each individual, blending conversation, skill-building, and interactive activities to keep them engaged. I also collaborate closely with parents, incorporating parent or family sessions when helpful to reinforce progress outside of sessions.

  • Living with chronic pain, chronic illness, or unexplained physical symptoms can feel confusing, exhausting, and isolating. In therapy, we focus on reducing stress, responding differently to difficult thoughts, and reconnecting with what matters most to you to allow you to live a more meaningful life. We also explore the mind-body connection and how stress and emotions can show up in the body, particularly when symptoms don’t have a clear medical cause.

  • Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy offers a safe, structured way to face fears using realistic, computer-generated environments accessed through a VR headset. It allows us to gently practice exposure work in a controlled setting, helping you build confidence, reduce avoidance, and feel more prepared for real-life situations.

  • I offer consultation services for schools, including speaking with teachers and support staff to help develop behavior plans and identify effective strategies for supporting children in the classroom. I also specialize in working with selective mutism and collaborating with schools on strategies to gently support and increase verbal communication in the classroom.
